It was built in 1734 by lord Mayor Ambrogio
Fanelli, who was influenced by the great Baroque revolution of
Martina Franca.
Under the clock, in fact, you can clearly read on the scroll
ornament the client name and the date.
The structure is very simple; above there is a bell cella with
four fornixes. The clock beats time of the local population
every hour and half an hour. |
