BAROQUE ART ON THE PALACES AND IN THE LANES |

Taking a walk in the old town centre, even
with no specific destination or itinerary, you can easily see in
every lane, in the volutes of every precious detail of the urban
eighteenth century architecture, some suggestive and new views,
some baroque smart or simple details and you can smell a new and
antique atmosphere in the air. |

old town centre
is very suggestive and peculiar.It has a singular artistic
beauty and, to the visitor, it appears in a scenographic maze of
streets and lovely lanes.
Here the Baroque art reigns everywhere: in
rich luxury palaces,
with wonderful wrought iron balconies; in lovely and ancient
churches and in
peculiar wide stretches. Passing through the ancient
doors that bring you to
the old town centre, you can see the stately circular
towers and some squared
ones that you can hardly see inside the walls. |
