This is definitely one of the most peculiar
areas of Martina old town centre.
The Lama quarter, with its ancient white little houses with
sloping roofs; with its lanes and its flowered balconies is a
real proof of what Martina was in the past. |

If you get in the quarter from Via Mercadante
you can see one of the most suggestive views of the old town
centre and this is an obliged stop of the visit to the rich and
precious historic, artistic and architectonic estate of Martina. |
