CRISTO RE CHURCH
Cristo Re church is settled near the central square of the
town and it was built in 1963.From the outside there is a big
dome and wide stairs, followed by a colonnade that allows the
visitor to see the typical limestone rock of Martina, which has
here been used. |

Inside there is a wide space with: a wonderful baptismal font
made of Carrara marble, two valuable statues (S. Francesco
d'Assisi, S. Antonio da Padova) and an aedicule with copper
decorations. |

REGINA MUNDI CHURCH
Regina Mundi church was consecrated in 1984, it was built in a
modern style and it is settled near the Madonna di Loreto and
S.Michele churches.
The peculiarity of this church are the five bells on the façade,
dedicated to: S. Martino, Regina Mundi, S. Pietro, S. Cataldo
and S.Paolo. |

SANTA FAMIGLIA CHURCH
Santa Famiglia church is a new church (1982) with an elegant
interior embellished by a valuable group of statues representing
the Holy Family and by a big spectacular mosaic carried out
between 1991 and 1996, over a fine gold bottom, with tesseras
made of enamel glass. |

MADONNA DELLA SANITA’ CHURCH
The “Chiesa della Sanità”, together with the next ancient church
with the same name (XVII century, the façade is refined by a
rose window and there also is a little niche with a fresco), was
built in the Fourties.
Inside, there is a wonderful fresco of the Madonna della Sanità
(1750), that was earlier kept in the ancient church. Outside,
there is a lovely statue of the Madonna delle Grazie, that was
in the past in the church of S.Francesco d’Assisi, and another
recent statue of S.Agostino. |
