MUNICIPAL
LIBRARY “ISIDORO CHIRULLI”
Martina Franca municipal library was constituted on the 17th of
july 1928 with the legislative measure numb.40 of the
Prefectorial Commissary, Dott. Ferdinando Abbate. The library
was called “Civica” ( Municipal) and was settled in the old
church of Santa Pace. Many books were bought, others were
donated by some people, all of them were classified and placed

LIBRARY “PAOLO
GRASSI” FOUNDATION
Paolo Grassi library is run by the Foundation together with the
Region
Puglia- C.R.S.E.C. TA/51 of Martina Franca which, thanks to an
agreement approved by the Public Instruction Regional
Assessorship, has three operators expert in library science.
